Why may you ask am I creating this blog? Well, I am embarking on the biggest journey thus far in my life. I am beginning the adventures of completing my Master's thesis at Harvard Extension School. So as not to give too much away, the project will use some of the latest and greatest technologies in Windows Mobile development to create a one-of-a kind application. Some of the ideas I will explore and devlop will be innovative interfaces, voice recognition technology and location-aware capabilities in mobile devices. I am targeting a specific business problem, but until it is completed, I can't quite give that information away.
My aspirations for this blog are two-fold. First, I want to share my experiences in mobile development so that others may take away some of the things I learn and experience, whether they be informational or solutions to problems I encounter. Second, I want to improve my writing skills so that when it comes time to write my actual thesis, I will have refined my skills as a writer. Writing is not a strength of mine and I think periodic blogging will help to get this developer in the mindset of a writer.
